Weld County Busted Booking Records
A booking at the Weld County Jail, officially the North Jail Complex, creates a record. The file links a person to an intake time, a booking number, an arresting agency, listed offenses, bail status, and a photo. Officers from Greeley, Windsor, or Evans may file their own incident reports. But the jail record belongs to the Weld County Sheriff's Office. That makes the arresting-agency field a routing hint. Send report questions to the city department. Send booking sheet or photo questions to WCSO.
The online record is not the full file. Weld County's Daily Arrests postings have carried detailed text with no booking photograph attached. The image may still sit in the jail file, available on request. Colorado law governs releases, so an online row never promises every piece. Charges also shift after booking through amendment, reduction, or dismissal in court.
Weld County Busted Record Fields
A name alone is a shaky identifier on the old Weld County Daily Arrest Report. Plenty of people share names. The booking number is the better anchor, since WCSO staff can pull one exact file from it. Add date of birth, arrest date, and the arresting agency, and a mistaken match becomes unlikely. Treat bail with care. The report only shows the amount or status recorded when it was generated, and a court order can change it later. The VINE link does separate work. It checks custody and can send release alerts.
| Field | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Name and identifiers | Booked name, date of birth, and gender used to distinguish people. |
| Booking number | The WCSO intake identifier, commonly beginning with IN, used for record and photo requests. |
| Arrest date and agency | The recorded time and the agency credited with the arrest or delivery. |
| Booked charge | The Colorado code and charge supplied at intake. |
| Bail | The amount, zero, NA, or other status when the report was produced. |
| Custody link | A route to VINE for status and optional release notification. |
| Booking photo | Not shown in the legacy report; it must be specifically requested from WCSO. |
Location tells you less than it seems. The Weld report covers people booked into the county jail, not every arrest that happens inside the county line. City bookings elsewhere fall outside it. Court date and disposition are not final fields here either. Once a prosecution begins, the court file takes over as the place where changes, pleas, dismissals, verdicts, and sentences are recorded.
Request Weld County Busted Photos
Weld County routes sheriff reports and jail records to the WCSO Records Unit. The county's general administrative-record portal does not handle them. Precision pays off here. A tight request limits identity mix-ups and makes a cost estimate easier to produce. Include the full name, booking date, booking number, and arresting agency. Then name the exact document you want, whether that is a booking sheet or a front-view intake photograph. Want a city officer's narrative instead? That part goes to the city police records unit, not WCSO.
- Find the booking number in the official arrest search or other WCSO record.
- Open the current WCSO Records Unit instructions and select the jail or inmate record type.
- Use the WCSO JustFOIA portal, or submit by an allowed mail, fax, or in-person channel.
- Ask for a written estimate and identify the desired format. No fixed photo turnaround was verified.
The WCSO fee schedule posts $10 for a mugshot. It also breaks out short retrieval, longer retrieval or redaction, page copies, archived media, evidence viewing, photo or media work, and body-camera review. No single price covers every mugshot record. Tie your request to one booking number. That gives Records the cleanest basis for a written estimate.
Policy details live in one place. The official Weld County records request page shows the current policy and its intake choices.
This neutral view of the interface helps separate two things: a formal WCSO record request and a simple search of the public jail reports. Different tools, different purposes.

Colorado Mugshot Law in Weld
One statute governs most of this. The Colorado Criminal Justice Records Act, C.R.S. sections 24-72-301 through 24-72-309, covers sheriff and police records. Records of official actions generally get open inspection. Other criminal justice records may first need a custodian's review. Privacy concerns, safety, an active investigation, a court order, juvenile status, or a sealing order can each close the door. So the honest way to describe a Weld County photo is requestable and reviewed, never automatically public.
State law does contain a mugshot rule, but it is narrow. C.R.S. 24-72-305.5 aims at one scheme: obtaining a booking photograph for a publication that demands money or another financial benefit to take it down. Requesters must make a required affirmation. Lying on it can draw a fine. Skip any service selling a paid shortcut. Start with the official record, the court, and free correction tools.
A WCSO news release offers a useful caution about images. In one 2026 release, the sheriff said it had used a 2024 jail photo because a new picture could not be taken. Context helps. Still, never assume a press image shows the latest Weld County intake.
What can be done about an inaccurate or sealed repost? Fix the source first. Correct the originating WCSO or court record, and if a publisher offers a free documentation-based removal route, send the exact URL plus the official order or proof. Once the source changes, a search engine's outdated-content process may refresh the stale result. Never pay a vendor to skip those steps.
Seal Weld County Busted Records
Colorado draws a line between sealing and expungement. Adults seek sealing; eligible juvenile matters go through expungement. Sealing hides a record from public view, though agencies authorized to keep copies may still hold them. The Weld District Attorney hands out a local diversion sheet, but the real authority on eligibility and forms is the Colorado Judicial Branch sealing page. A handout points the way. It never promises your case qualifies.
Which arrests can be sealed? Quite a few. No charges filed, a full dismissal, an acquittal, or a completed eligible diversion all open the door. Other cases turn on the offense type, what happened afterward, waiting periods, and whether court fines are paid. Serious crimes sit outside the process entirely. Juvenile records run on their own separate track. Once a judge signs the order, that document is what you send to any agency or publisher when asking for a lawful update.
Among third-party sites, RecentlyBooked stands as the one live Weld County page. Its free removal policy covers sealed or expunged cases, dismissals, wrong-person matches, juvenile matters, duplicates, and stale entries. Mugshots.com posts a free policy for certain documented updates but has no current Weld landing page. Arrests.org, Busted Newspaper, and Mugshots.zone all lack a verified Weld section, so their generic pages should not be treated as Weld sources.
Note: A sealed court file, a retained agency record, and a search-engine result can change on different schedules.
Find Weld County Busted Mugshots
Start any Weld County search with one basic question. Is the person actually in custody? The current Jail Reports gateway answers that best, since it bundles arrest data, release data, the current population, and a pending-release view. The old Daily Arrests write-up still helps for historical context, though it is neither a live roster nor a photo feed. Search the exact name first, match the agency and booking number, then pick the channel that answers your next question.
- Check WCSO Jail Reports for an arrest, current population, pending release, or release record.
- Use the record's VINE path when the goal is present custody or a release alert.
- Request the intake photograph from WCSO Records because no official public photo display was verified.
- Route the police narrative to the arresting agency shown on the booking.
- Check the court file for the disposition, not just the booked charge.
- Use CDOC, BOP, or ICE only when the person moved into that distinct system.
A blank result proves nothing. The person may have been cited and released, moved to another county, picked up by a federal agency, placed in a protected juvenile process, or simply not yet loaded into the public update. For a very fresh arrest, call the jail or check VINE first. Then revisit the hourly report.
Weld County Busted Source Map
Every Weld County source speaks to a different stage of the process. Official channels come first. They alone control the jail record, custody status, sentence, or court outcome. News pages choose which events to cover. An unofficial publisher may copy a booking item, alter it, or lag behind a correction or release. So its card should never outrank the WCSO or court record it came from.
| Channel | Photo? | Best use |
|---|---|---|
| WCSO Jail Reports | No verified public photo display | Arrest, release, current-population, and pending-release views. |
| WCSO Records | Requestable, reviewed | Booking sheet and intake-photo request. |
| VINE | Not the mugshot source | Current custody and release notification. |
| Colorado courts | Not a gallery | Register of Actions, filed record, and disposition. |
| CDOC | Profile image may appear | People committed to state corrections, not short county stays. |
| RecentlyBooked | May show an image | Unofficial Weld page that may be incomplete, stale, or inconsistent. |
WCSO and Greeley Police releases are official, but they pick events rather than logging every arrest. For rolling local crime coverage, the Greeley Tribune leads the pack. KFKA tends to summarize or link back to Tribune reporting. Photos vary from story to story. An article can't tell you where someone sits right now. Check Jail Reports for custody, then read the court outcome.
The RecentlyBooked Weld County section maps the local third-party landscape once the official routes are exhausted.
Its own statements about Weld images conflict, so treat the site as a lead only. Confirm every identity, custody fact, charge, and outcome with WCSO and the court.
Weld County Jail Reports Change
A major local shift arrived on July 27, 2026. That day, WCSO retired the old Daily Arrest and Daily Released pages. In their place came one unified Jail Reports interface. The new gateway adds searchable arrest and release data, the current jail population, and a pending-release view. WCSO says the data refreshes hourly from its system of record, and the old daily email digest is gone. For anyone believed to be held right now, the current-population view is the lead route.
Hourly refreshing does not mean a street arrest appears within the hour. WCSO never published a guaranteed intake-to-web lag. The new interface's historical window and its photo behavior also remain unstated. Old search results may still describe a report that stopped at yesterday and reached back to February 14, 2006. Treat that as documented legacy depth, not proof that every old row made the jump.
The Weld County North Jail Complex page is the official source for detention operations and jail services.
That facility page fills in jail context, but don't confuse it with the separate Jail Reports search interface.
Note: Recheck the current gateway after an hourly update when an intake may be too new for public data.
Search Weld County Busted Bookings
Read the new Weld County interface by view, not as one mixed list. Arrest search tells you whether a jail intake was recorded. Current population shows who is held now. Pending release marks the state between custody and a completed release. Release search logs a departure. One caution: a person can sit in historical arrest data long after walking free. So the date label and the view label both matter.
| View | Custody meaning | What it cannot prove |
|---|---|---|
| Arrest search | A Weld County Jail booking event | Present custody, guilt, or final charges |
| Current population | Current recorded jail custody | How the court case will end |
| Pending release | A release process shown as pending | That release is complete or the case is dismissed |
| Release search | A recorded release from Weld County Jail | Acquittal, dismissal, or sentence outcome |
Legacy searches ran on three controls: first name, last name, and arrest date. Results carried arrest time, agency, booking number, date of birth, gender, charge text and code, bail, and VINE. Assume nothing carried over until you see it in the new portal. Use the current controls exactly as displayed. Hold onto the booking number for every later request.
Weld County Arrest Release Feeds
No verified official mugshot gallery exists for Weld County, and there is no separately branded 24-hour or 72-hour photo feed. The 2026 Jail Reports system comes closest. WCSO describes hourly updates plus separate present-population and pending-release views. Searchable arrest and release views reach wider date ranges. But no unverified window should be pinned on them.
The legacy Daily Arrest Report listed bookings from February 14, 2006 through yesterday. Daily Released searched by release date instead. Daily Calls is different. It is a dispatch and service log, where entries can carry a time, call type, jurisdiction, general location, priority, and report number. Not every call becomes a report. Not every report becomes an arrest. So never read a call entry as proof that someone got busted.
The official WCSO Daily Call Report shows this blotter function in practice.
The interface can help you find an event. Only a booking report, though, can establish that a jail intake actually occurred.
Weld County Booking Alerts
Skip the idea of a sheriff-branded mugshot app. Weld County uses Colorado VINE to track custody status and send release alerts. It is free, it is confidential, and it covers participating county jails across the state. Pair an arrest record with a VINE registration and you will hear about custody changes as they happen. One limit: VINE follows the jail events, not the courtroom.
Other tools fill narrower roles. ConnectNetwork and GettingOut handle deposits and messages for people in custody. CodeRED pushes local emergency notices. CommunityConnect sends case-status updates to eligible victims through WCSO. None of these replaces Jail Reports, VINE, or the court docket. Social media posts and sheriff news releases come and go, so treat them as scattered pieces rather than a full arrest record.
Can a released person vanish from the roster? Yes. The current population list shifts after release. The historical booking and the underlying jail file can still exist, though. Try the release view first, then pull the court record to see where the charge went.
Weld County Booking Court Timing
Weekend bond hearings in the 19th Judicial District run at 9 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, with out-of-county warrants heard at 10 a.m. Sunday. Those times are a schedule, not a promise. Calendars, jurisdiction, holds, and case posture all shape when a newly booked person actually appears before a judge.
The general path runs from arrest to booking and photo, then bond release or continued custody, advisement, charging, motions, and finally a plea, dismissal, or trial. Bond is simply the court's condition for release while the case moves forward. A disposition records how it all ended.
Want the official outcome? Ask Weld County Combined Courts for the Register of Actions, plus any Disposition or Sentence Order that applies. The clerk's record beats a news clip or a copied booking card every time.
Weld County Arrest Case Search
Colorado's Judicial Branch has no single clean, free, statewide name search. Instead, it points you to register-of-actions services. Certified document copies come through the court clerk. Start with a name. Then filter by county, case number, and date. Municipal charges may sit in a city court, while state cases land in the 19th Judicial District. Windsor arrests can even route through Larimer County. The Weld County court gateway is the official entry point.
Where the booking snapshot ends, this court source begins. It shows later filings and the final case outcome.

Note: Match the court case number, booking number, and arresting agency before treating records as the same event.
Weld County Booking Custody Paths
County jail, state prison, federal custody, and immigration detention are four different worlds. Was someone committed to Colorado corrections? Search the CDOC offender search. A profile there may show a corrections ID image, status, facility, supervision details, and a DOC number. That photo may not match the original Weld County booking photo.
The state gateway covers people committed to corrections. It does not track everyone arrested or briefly held at the county jail.
Federal custody has its own tool: the BOP Inmate Locator, covering federal inmates from 1982 onward with no photo in public results. Immigration detention uses the ICE Online Detainee Locator. A missing county booking tells you nothing about immigration status. Search each system only when the facts actually point there.
- Booking
- Jail intake that creates the administrative record and identifying photograph.
- Bond
- Court-set terms for release while the case continues.
- Disposition
- The recorded court outcome, such as dismissal, plea, verdict, or sentence.
- Detainer
- A request or hold from another authority, distinct from guilt.
- Sealing
- A legal limit on public access that does not always destroy all agency records.
Weld County Mugshot Archives
For old Weld County jail records, start with WCSO Records. The legacy online report once claimed booking depth back to February 14, 2006. That window is not a legal retention schedule, though. No single WCSO rule sets one destruction date for all booking photos. Give Records a name, booking date or number, and the format you want. Ask whether the item is active, archived, transferred, restricted, or lawfully disposed of.
The Colorado State Archives serves a different mission. Its penitentiary and reformatory collections hold historic inmate photographs, registers, indexes, and prisoner files. Those are state collections, not a full archive of Weld County Jail intake images. Search by person, collection, date, and record title. Also ask about restrictions, copies, and fees. The Colorado State Archives catalog is the place to begin a request.
Historic state prisoner holdings live here, separate from current Weld County booking and custody records.
Weld County Busted City Routes
Where you look first depends on which agency handled the case. Greeley Police keeps its own incident and officer paperwork. The sheriff's office, by contrast, holds the booking entry and intake photo once someone lands in the Weld County Jail. Evans works the same way. Police files sit on one side. Jail records sit on the other. Windsor is the tricky one, since the town straddles both Weld and Larimer Counties, so an arrest there might never become a Weld booking at all.
- Greeley Busted Mugshots covers Greeley Police records and the Weld jail booking route.
- Windsor Busted Mugshots identifies the arresting county before choosing Weld or Larimer sources.
- Evans Busted Mugshots connects Evans Police records with WCSO intake data.
None of these three police departments runs its own public booking-photo roster. When an arrest led to a Weld County Jail booking, search WCSO instead. Use the arresting agency field to route any incident-report request. Whatever the city, the court disposition remains the final and most important check.
